CAIR-NY to Join Muslim Leadership’s Commitment to Opposing Anti-Black Racism
(NEW YORK, N.Y. 6/8/2020) – On Tuesday, June 9, the New York Chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-NY) will join a panel of distinguished Muslim leadership in New York City to call for sweeping criminal justice reform and to propose structural changes in policies that directly affect lower socio-economic and African-American communities.

CAIR-NY and the Islamic Leadership Council of New York will hold a press conference outlining the coalitions and commitments central to recommitting ourselves towards anti-Racist work and Black liberation.
