Law Enforcement Questioning
Whether at the airport or at your front door, CAIR-NY represents Muslims targeted through discriminatory government "watchlists" and subjected to unjustified, intrusive questioning. We protect our community's rights and challenge unlawful profiling and abuse of authority.
Vicious Hate Crimes
CAIR-NY represents individuals viciously assaulted because of their Muslim identity or national origin. We advocate for hate crime charges, amplify victims' voices, and demand accountability from law enforcement and district attorneys.
Employment & Civil Rights
CAIR-NY represents individuals who face discrimination in the workplace, schools, and public spaces because of their Muslim identity. From unlawful termination and harassment to denial of religious accommodations, we advocate for justice, accountability, and equal treatment under the law.
