Action Alert: Legal Volunteer Training Opportunity

We hope you can join us for this, the first in a series of pro bono legal volunteer opportunities. The New York Chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (“CAIR-NY”) and the New York City Commission on Human Rights (“CCHR”) will train volunteer attorneys how to help victims of harassment and discrimination report their experiences to the CCHR. In recent weeks, New York City has seen increasing complaints of harassment, discrimination, and hate crimes, and we need support from volunteers like you to ensure that every New Yorker has an avenue to seek justice.
