Glenn Greenwald Speaks at CAIR-NY Annual Banquet

At the 2013 CAIR-New York Awards Banquet keynote speaker Glenn Greenwald spoke about upholding our constitution and the degradation of our civil liberties under the government's 'War on Terror.' 

Glenn Greenwald is the author of How Would a Patriot Act? (May 2006), a critique of the Bush administration's use of executive power; A Tragic Legacy (June, 2007), which examines the Bush legacy; and With Liberty and Justice For Some: How the Law Is Used to Destroy Equality and Protect the Powerful--the three were New York Times bestsellers. Greenwald is also a columnist on civil liberties and US national security at the Guardian News. He was recently named by The Atlantic as one of the 25 most influential political commentators in the nation.

Glenn Greenwald has been an outspoken critic of government policies that have dehumanized, and eroded the rights of Muslims in the US and across the world.
