Maryam Shuaib

Community Program Organizer

Maryam is the Community Program Organizer at CAIR-NY. Prior to joining CAIR-NY, Maryam was an Organizing & Education Fellow at Malikah where she organized and developed community programming in Little Egypt. She also assisted in supporting political campaigns tethered to demanding disaggregated MENA representation in data. Maryam is also passionate about cultural preservation, and has interned at the Palestinian Museum in Birzeit, Palestine as a researcher before completing her undergraduate thesis on Palestinian national identity. Maryam graduated Summa Cum Laude and holds a B.A. in Political Science with a double minor in Economics and Human Rights from St. Francis College.
