Know Your Rights: Addressing Our Concerns

On January 7, CAIR-NY's executive director Afaf Nasher was invited to be a panelist, addressing the increase in harassment, hate crimes, changes in Immigration Law and other concerns of the Muslim community. The panel discussion was organized by the Muslim Community Network (MCN) and was held at 239 Thompson Street, New York, NY 10012.

Other panelists included Kyce Siddiqi, MCN Board Member and Attorney at Law, NYPD Hate Crimes Task Force and leaders from the Commission of Human Rights and Mayors office of Immigrant Affairs.
