Christina John

Staff Attorney

Christina John is a Staff Attorney on the Legal Team at CAIR-NY. Christina was born and raised in Queens and is a proud New Yorker. She graduated from the Macaulay Honors Program at CUNY-Hunter in 2016 before graduating from Fordham University School of Law in 2021. She completed a state court clerkship with the New Jersey Appellate Division and then spent time as an Assistant Deputy Public Defender at the New Jersey Office of the Public Defender. She is very interested in how the First Amendment, as well as other constitutional protections, are applied to minority populations as they engage in advocacy or are simply living their lives. She enjoys puzzles, cooking, taking long walks, and spending time with her family. She was admitted to the State of New Jersey in 2021 and is working towards her bar application for the State of New York.
