Coalition Letter to Express Solidarity with University Students Advocating for Ceasefire
(NEW YORK, NY, 4/26/2024) - CAIR-NY partners with 65 other community organizations to send a letter addressed to Governor Kathy Hochul, Mayor Eric Adams, NYU President Linda Mills, and Columbia President Minouche Shafik, and Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, expressing solidarity with students at Columbia University, New York University (NYU), colleges and universities, who are advocating for a ceasefire from the Palestinian genocide and institutional divestment from companies implicated in known human rights abuses.
