CAIR-NY to Join 1 Freedom For All, Community Partners to Call on NYC Dept. of Education to Probe Sheridan Academy for Discrimination, Lack of Language Access for African Students

(NEW YORK, NY, 6/18/2021) – Today at 2pm, the New York chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-NY), the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy group, will join 1 Freedom For All, community members and parents at a press conference to call on the NYC Department of Education to investigate Sheridan Academy for discrimination against African Muslim students.
