CAIR-NY - Right now, Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (“DACA”) is facing unprecedented threats, as conservative activists try to dismantle the safeguards that have helped nearly a million people pursue jobs, education, and the American dream.  At the same moment, the Trump administration is targeting Temporary Protected Status (“TPS”), the immigration program that helps hundreds of thousands of Americans who are fleeing danger and death abroad. 
 
DACA and TPS protect thousands of New Yorkers, and we must make sure these vital programs continue.  Join us this Tuesday, August 15th at 5:00 PM at Trump Tower (725 5th Ave) to rally to #DefendDACA and #DefendTPS.  Together, we will ensure that all of our communities are protected from deportation.
